This listing is to get 1 shear sharpened by Perfect Edge, NOT to buy the sharpening machine. This is for a mail in service. Once we recieve your shear we will sharpen it and have it in the mail back to you within a couple days. (If you only have 1 shear then consider purchasing another shear on our site, then you will have a backup and will more easily be able to get your shear sharpened in the future.)

I took a one-on-one shear sharpening training program with a Master Sharpener and shear genius in California almost 17 years ago. Since then sharpening is all I do- NOT lawn mower blades and saw blades and swords and whatever else- JUST shears! I'd rather be excellent at one thing than okay at many!

Also, 99% of the time when a stylist complains about their shear getting "ruined" it was done using a very coarse, very fast, "grinding" machine. As the picture shows, I WILL NOT grind your shears- they will be honed using very fine abrasives at a relatively slow speed which will remove a minimal amount of shear edge.
